Hand-carved wine-cellar doors for a Provençal client

Here is a fun project—wine cellar doors for a “cave” in France, designed by Ian Agrell and made of teak reclaimed from old warehouses. The upper panel is a mirrored pattern of hanging grapes surrounded by a lily leaf moulding. Naturally the panels float within their frames to allow for the dramatic climate changes the region experiences throughout the year.
